I never had the option to hide away despite my best attempts to bury myself in a world that has been structured to destroy me for nothing more than the ways in which I exist. However, I have the opportunity to use every moment to be a part of something greater than myself and more powerful than the forces that seek to profit off my pain and the suffering experienced by the masses. Join me (virtually) during Hoodoo Heritage Month, and Trans Remembrance Week specifically October 22nd, 2025 and November 19th, 2025 from 6:30-9:30PM, as I utilize my art to intimately explore and contemplate the relationship between identity vs. politicization, self-preservation vs. violence and ritualistic expression as a vehicle for liberation. ”
